Plastic Injection Molds
It is an injection moulding method where a non-plastic part or “insert” is placed inside the cavity of a plastic injection moulding tool. The process moulds plastic around the insert, which can be metal or other hard materials. Insert moulding is used in manufacturing products such as electrical components, mounting pads, screws etc.
Over Mouldig This process involves moulding two polymer materials with pressure and heat to create a single finished product with improved appearance and durability. The inner layer is hard plastic covered or “over moulded” by thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) or other rubber-like materials.
